The Role

As the IT Security and Applications Manager, you will be responsible for performing the full-stack design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the District’s cyber security, physical security, and virtual application infrastructure.  The position focuses on identifying risks, mitigating those risks, developing initiatives to protect the District from cyber-attacks, and engaging with other groups to continually improve the District’s security posture.  You will be an important part of a strong, talented team of cross-functional problem solvers working between Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IOT), business and governance paradigms. 

Secondary responsibilities will to be to assist the Information Technology Director / Chief Information Officer in the strategic planning and budgeting of the IT department, as well as assume the role of Acting Information Technology Director during any absences of the IT Director / CIO.

Qualifications

 Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, a similar field or equivalent experience, with a master’ degree preferred.  A minimum of 3-years’ cyber security experience required, with evidence of an industry recognized security certification. Experience with virtualization of desktops and applications an added benefit.

Salary: $128,096 - $155,701 /year

Compensation and Benefits

The TDPUD provides competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package to full-time, regular employees.
