Truckee, Calif. Want an extra $25 or $50 rebate for buying the most efficient appliance or toilet? Want to invest in cost-effective conservation projects to save your business money?

The TDPUD has a large portfolio of energy and water conservation programs that help customers implement cost-effective projects. Customers can choose from traditional rebate programs, free residential energy surveys and CFL’s, and free business lighting and commercial refrigeration programs.

  • Improved incentives for super -efficient appliances that exceed the Energy Star rating;

  • $125 rebate per ultra-water-efficient (1.28 GPF) or dual-flush toilet;

  • $175 rebate for water-efficient clothes washers ($125 energy rebate + $50 water rebate); and

  • Custom commercial rebate ($0.16/kWh) for qualifying energy efficiency projects at your business.

    *Go to for program rules and to see if you qualify.  Rebates must be received by the TDPUD within 90 days of purchase or installation.
