Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Truckee Donner Public Utility District,
Nevada County, California, herein referred to as the “DISTRICT”, will receive sealed bids at the
District office, 11570 Donner Pass Road, Truckee California 96161 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday,
April 28, 2026, at which time they shall be opened and publicly read for:
MARTIS VALLEY SUBSTATION MODERNIZATION - 2026
The WORK of this Contract comprises of the following:
- Demolition and removal of existing steel structures and concrete foundations
- Grading and installation of drainage infrastructure
- Installation of conduits, pre-fabricated vaults and pull boxes
- Ground grid improvements
- Fencing and gate modifications, upgraded security cameras and lighting
- Installation and termination of high voltage cables and control wiring
- Removal, installation and repair of asphalt pavement
- Testing and commissioning of the protection and control systems
- Ancillary items such as fittings, low voltage electrical enclosures, locator wire, marking tape and other appurtenances
