Truckee Donner PUD does not generate electric power locally and relies on NV Energy for transmission services. Over the last two months, there has been a decline in NV Energy transmission reliability resulting in numerous intermittent and longer-term electric outages; primarily in Tahoe Donner and Donner Lake but also impacting Glenshire and other areas. TDPUD has been seeking a solution from NV Energy. Power outages do happen and we all need to be prepared.
