Energy and Water Conservation

Situated in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, The Truckee Donner Public Utility District is proud to support a portfolio of energy and water saving programs for our community.  Our programs are designed to promote energy savings technologies that will help our customers save energy and water, reduce our carbon footprint, and ultimately help our customers reduce their bills.

Evaluation, Measurement, & Verification (EM&V) and Regulatory Reporting

Each year, the District commissions an Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification (EM&V) report to verify our programs effectiveness.  In addition, as required by California AB2021/SB1037, the Truckee Donner PUD reports our energy efficiency results to the California Energy Commission on an annual basis through a consolidated report from California's public power sector.
