The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (District) is requesting information from qualified electric utility contractors regarding emergency storm response and electric distribution line construction services. The District seeks budgetary labor and equipment rates, contractor capabilities, and availability to support power restoration during significant storm events and other emergency conditions.
The District is seeking contractors capable of providing fully equipped four-person electric line construction crews that can report to the District within 48 hours of notification.
This Request for Information is issued solely for planning and information-gathering purposes. Submission of a response does not guarantee an award of work or establish a contractual relationship with the District. The District is under no obligation to engage any respondent, procure services, or compensate respondents for costs associated with preparing a response. Any future work will be subject to separate authorization and an executed agreement, as applicable.
